CHRIST IS THE MELODY OF THIS SEASON

“He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.” Matthew 28:6 (KJV)

THE SOUND THAT DEFEATED SILENCE

The announcement of the angel was not merely information, it was a disruption. Death had spoken loudly days before. The cross had echoed with suffering, and the grave had sealed its argument with silence. But in a single declaration, heaven overturned the conclusion of earth: “He is not here.”

This was more than a statement of absence; it was a proclamation of victory. The place that was meant to hold Him could not contain Him. The silence of the tomb was broken by the melody of resurrection.

This speaks to the human condition. Every person knows what it means to experience “tombs” places of loss, disappointment, and finality. The mind often concludes too quickly that what is buried is gone forever. But the resurrection introduces a new way of seeing: not everything that appears finished is truly over.

The resurrection is not just an event; it is a sound, a divine melody that continues to echo through time. Without Christ, the season becomes noise. With Him, it becomes music.

THE BROKEN HARP AND THE MASTER MUSICIAN

There was once a village known for its music, with a great harp at its center. Each day, a master musician played, and the village came alive with joy and purpose.

Then he stopped coming.

The harp remained, but silence took over. People made noise to replace the music, yet something was missing.

One day, the musician returned and began to play again. His melody awakened hearts and restored what had been lost. But some rejected him and destroyed the harp, thinking the music would end.

Yet the music returned, not from the harp, but from everywhere. It had already been planted within the people.

They realized the music was never in the instrument, but in the master.

CHRIST AS THE MELODY OF THE SEASON

Christ is the meaning behind every expression of joy. A melody gives structure to sound, and Christ gives meaning to celebration.

Without Him, there is activity without depth. With Him, there is purpose, hope, and life beyond what seems like an end.

His life, death, and resurrection form a pattern the soul recognizes. Suffering is not the end. Sacrifice has purpose. Life can rise again.

Many celebrate the season but miss its source. To truly experience it is to tune the heart to Christ.

A REFLECTION

The human soul is like an instrument. When it resonates with Christ, it produces peace, clarity, and purpose. When it is disconnected, it produces emptiness.

Christ restores what is missing. He does not just change circumstances; He renews the inner life.

Because He rose, something within us can rise too.

Hope rises. Faith rises. Purpose rises.

INSPIRATION

Learning to hear His melody requires stillness, reflection, and surrender.

The season is an invitation not just to celebrate, but to listen.

And when you hear it, everything changes.M

CLOSING THOUGHT

*Without Christ, celebration loses meaning. He is the melody behind true joy.

  • What appears finished is not always final. Life can rise from silence.
  • True peace comes when the heart responds to Christ, the harmony it was created for.
