EACH OF US IS A PROCESS

Each of us is a process.

Nobody arrives in this world as a finished product. We are all being shaped by experiences, relationships, failures, victories, trials, and grace.

The person you see today may not be the person they will become tomorrow. Therefore, do not judge someone by one chapter of their life. A process is not a conclusion.

EVERY MAN IS A QUOTATION OF ANOTHER

We carry pieces of the people who have passed through our lives. Someone’s prayer may become our strength. Someone’s correction may become our wisdom. Even painful experiences can teach us lessons.

But we must learn from others without allowing their experiences to define our entire story.

AFRICAN STORY OF THE SCULPTOR

An old African story tells of a sculptor carving a piece of wood. People mocked him because they could not see beauty in what he was doing.

He continued carving until a beautiful statue emerged.

When asked how he created it, he replied, “I simply removed what was hiding the beauty.”

Sometimes God is doing the same thing in our lives.

A difficult season may be removing pride. A closed door may be redirecting us. Waiting may be developing patience. Pain may be producing wisdom.

What looks like delay may actually be development.

DO NOT JUDGE THE STATUE WHILE THE SCULPTOR IS STILL WORKING

God is still working on you.

Joseph had a pit before the palace. Moses had a wilderness before his assignment. Peter had failure before restoration.

Your present chapter is not your entire book.

Philippians 1:6 KJV

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

God does not abandon what He begins.

LESSONS

  1. Do not judge yourself by your present condition.
  2. Do not judge others by one chapter of their lives.
  3. Learn from everyone who crosses your path.
  4. Allow painful experiences to produce wisdom.
  5. Trust God through your process.
  6. Remember that failure is not your identity.
  7. Never compare your process with another person’s appearance.
  8. Believe that God is still shaping you.

You are not finished.

Your story is still being written. Your present condition is not your final destination.

Every man is a quotation of another, but God wants to write an original story through your life.

PRAYER

Father, help me to trust my process. Give me wisdom to learn from every experience and patience to wait for Your perfect work. Shape me into the person You created me to become, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

You are not finished. God is still working in you. What looks incomplete today will become a testimony tomorrow. May the Lord complete the good work He has begun in your life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

AUTHOR’S THOUGHT

“Do not judge a person by the chapter you met them in; every life is still being written.”This can also be reduced further into a short Facebook devotional version of about 500 words.
