“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
Galatians 6:7 (KJV)

A Story: Ekwe-iko-ro and the Hidden Charm

In a certain village, there lived a feared native doctor named Ekwe-iko-ro. People whispered his name at night. It was said he could prepare charms that harmed enemies from a distance. Many who sought revenge visited him. For a price, he buried charms along hidden paths, planted spiritual traps in forests, and invoked dark forces against those who had offended his clients.

For years, he prospered. His hut expanded. His fame spread. Fear became his advertisement.

One season, a wealthy man came to him with anger in his heart. He wanted his rival eliminated. Ekwe-iko-ro prepared a powerful charm and buried it along a hidden road where the rival frequently passed. He warned that whoever stepped on it would not see another sunrise.

But consequence is patient.

Days later, while returning from a distant village at dusk, Ekwe-iko-ro chose a shortcut through the forest. He had forgotten where he buried the charm. In the darkness, he stepped on the very ground he had prepared for another.

Before morning, the village heard that the feared man had fallen mysteriously on the hidden road.

The charm did not recognize client or creator. It only fulfilled its design.

The trap he prepared for another became the receipt of his own transaction.

CAUSE IS NEVER LOST

Life operates under the principle of causation. Nothing emerges without origin. Every event has ancestry. The future is not magic; it is mathematics.

When we act, we set forces in motion. Those forces do not disappear simply because we forget them. Like seeds under soil, they wait for their season.

Ekwe-iko-ro believed he controlled consequence because he controlled the ritual. But he misunderstood reality. One may initiate action, but one cannot dictate its ultimate trajectory.

The Greek thinker Aristotle observed that actions form habits, habits form character, and character shapes destiny. In this chain, nothing is accidental.

Evil done in secret is not erased by secrecy. It is preserved by structure.

When a person schemes harm, they introduce harm into the moral atmosphere. Even if it does not return in identical form, it returns in principle. What is projected outward often finds its way back inward.

Life is not merely chronological; it is reciprocal.

The future is today’s echo.

THE LAW OF INNER FORMATION

Repeated actions sculpt identity. Ekwe-iko-ro did not become dangerous overnight. He became what he repeatedly practiced.

When someone trains the mind in cruelty, suspicion becomes natural. Paranoia becomes normal. Peace becomes impossible. The mind that designs traps eventually walks cautiously through life, fearing unseen consequences.

What we rehearse, we internalize.

If a person constantly plots revenge, their entire being adapts to hostility. Rest becomes rare. Trust becomes difficult. Over time, the internal damage equals or exceeds the external harm.

Hatred is not stored in a container; it is stored in the heart.

In the same way, integrity practiced daily strengthens stability. Compassion practiced repeatedly reshapes perception. Forgiveness changes reaction patterns.

The mind does not argue with repetition; it strengthens it.

If we repeatedly transact bitterness, we build a future of unrest.
If we repeatedly transact patience, we build a future of calm authority.

Many people blame destiny for what is actually conditioning.

Your future emotional life is being constructed by today’s thoughts.

DIVINE ORDER AND MORAL GRAVITY

The story of Ekwe-iko-ro illustrates a divine law: evil is self-destructive.

Darkness cannot be handled safely. It contaminates the handler.

The charm buried for another did not fail; it functioned exactly as designed. The problem was that its maker forgot its location. This mirrors a deeper truth: when we release destructive forces, through words, intentions, or actions, we cannot fully control their return path.

God’s order is precise. Spiritual laws are consistent.

The scripture above warns that God is not mocked. Reality cannot be manipulated indefinitely. One may delay consequence, but one cannot delete it.

Yet there is hope.

While the law of sowing and reaping stands firm, grace offers interruption. Repentance can uproot seeds before harvest. Transformation can redirect trajectory. Mercy can cancel impending judgment.

If Ekwe-iko-ro had renounced his practices before that day, if he had chosen a different transaction, his future would have arrived differently.

Righteousness is not restriction. It is protection from self-inflicted harm.

AUDIT YOUR DAILY TRANSACTIONS

Every day you bury something in the soil of time:

Words spoken in anger.
Decisions made in secret.
Habits repeated in private.
Intentions entertained in silence.

All of them are seeds.

You may forget where you buried them. But the future will not.

Therefore:

Choose integrity even when unseen.
Choose kindness even when uncelebrated.
Choose discipline even when uncomfortable.
Choose forgiveness even when pride resists.

The hidden road of tomorrow is being prepared by today’s steps.

Do not plant what you cannot safely walk upon.

If you desire peace in the future, transact peace today.
If you desire honor in the future, transact honesty today.
If you desire stability in the future, transact wisdom today.

Because the future does not arrive empty-handed.

It arrives carrying evidence.

CLOSING WISDOM

Every action is a seed.
Every seed has a season.
And every season eventually introduces you
to what you once planted in secret.
