2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
Our faith needs to be stronger than our feelings because feelings change with circumstances, but faith keeps us anchored to God’s promises. Sometimes, fear tells us to give up, disappointment makes us question our future, and prolonged struggles make us wonder whether things will ever change.
Faith does not mean pretending that we are not hurting. It means trusting God even when our hearts are troubled. You can feel afraid and still believe. You can feel discouraged and still pray. You can experience uncertainty without surrendering your hope.
Never allow temporary feelings to determine your permanent decisions. Feelings describe how you feel today, but they cannot tell you everything about tomorrow.
THE STORY OF A MAN WHO SUFFERED FOR TEN YEARS
A man had suffered from tuberculosis for ten years. Throughout those difficult years, he experienced physical weakness, emotional exhaustion, and moments when his hope nearly disappeared. There were times when he wondered whether he would ever recover.
One night, he had a remarkable dream in which he saw Jesus approaching him. In the dream, Jesus touched his tongue. When the man woke up, he believed he had received a divine healing. Within less than two days, he experienced what he understood to be a miraculous transformation in his condition and testified that he had been healed.
After ten years of suffering, the experience filled him with renewed hope and strengthened his faith in God’s power.
His testimony reminds us that difficult seasons can last longer than we expect, but we should not allow discouragement to destroy our hope. At the same time, personal testimonies of healing should not replace medical assessment or appropriate treatment.
OUR FAITH LESSON
Like this man, we must learn to remain hopeful during difficult seasons. Faith encourages us to trust God even when we cannot understand our circumstances. However, faith is not a guarantee that every illness will end in healing according to our expectations.
Your present struggle is real, but it does not have to destroy your hope.

- TRUST GOD EVEN WHEN YOUR FEELINGS ARE UNSTABLE
